The Donut Way is stuffed with a huge variety of delicious recipes that are sure to inspire seasoned bakers and total newbies alike! The book is chock-full of beautiful color photographs of the baked goods, as well as interesting historical info and personal commentary from the teenage baker/author. The first recipe I made was the "Tim Hortons Chocolate Cake Donuts" and they turned out incredibly well, especially since it was my first time making donuts at all! I also enjoyed seeing the many recipes for glazes and fillings, which inspire countless ways to personalize the recipes. It's also worth mentioning that as someone with celiac, I was able to substitute in cup-for-cup gluten free flour without any issues. Finally, I can satisfy my donut cravings at home! I highly recommend picking this book up either as a gift or for yourself โ€“ making donuts is super fun and with The Donut Way, it's sure to be a delicious experience!
